Just another day at the ranch

Pay real close attention! If you or a loved one is EVEN considering checking into Huntington Beach Rehab...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Because you will either relapse or be found dead. This is no lie the facts are real. Mike Nielsen is a real criminal, just check his background. listen carefully folks....he only developed sober living homes as a easy means of cash flow, and whatever sincerity he is trying to portray is only pure BULLSHIT! Mike & and his silent partner Lillian Connor simply want money, and don't want to work for it. Its all a scam every bit of it. Still not convinced? Look for licenced staff members....they don't exist. Everyone he checks in is either a homeless person or has a felony record, "why" because they are easy prey for him and will do anything he says to stay out of jail. Still want more? Then why does he have a "junkie" mentality when he speaks at his house meetings. There is no message of hope or the true mechanics of getting sober, how often does he put someone down or make them an example at meetings. How bout this? Why does all his web-sites have images of half naked girls sun bathing on the beach. Clearly targeting as specific clientele of people that AUTOMATICALLY know its not serious. His sites look more like a spring break party in Cancun Mexico.
Think of it this way...if you had cancer, would you go to a Doctor or the corner drug dealer to help get you cured.
Mike is that corner drug dealer...not any kind of Doctor. And people will continue to die at his sober living homes because he runs them like junkie flop houses.
And on a final note..I am 4 years sober as of this month, and you know why?? Mike had nothing to do with it.
Hamming it up for the camera. what Mike is really
thinking (damn I lost another $200 a week)
Honestly the only reason he is even in these pictures
is that he knows photographers are there.

CONNOR RANCH FINALLY CLOSED DOWN!
As December 9th the nightmare if over.
After Von, Mike`s buddy got caught getting drunk while he was House Manager, everything fell apart.
Lillian Connor finally got the message that Mike Nielsen is nothing but a walking disaster, and decided to fire him and close the businesses.
Mike`s response?
Like the lunatic he is, he`s making fun of the whole thing.
Rest in Peace Jeff and Donnie, your deaths were not in vain.

Thank God the night mare is over. I think that there should be some kind of clarification to all the "crap" that has been placed here for the world to see. There were several people involved in a thwarted but valiant attempt at improving CRTC. A lot of energy went into improving the program from a holistic approach (Biological, psychological, social, spiritual), but without the ability to remove Dr. Mike from the throne they were unable to make much progress) The last batch of counselors gave all they had and more. The last counselor stuck it out until the last day. She would not leave before the client was transferred to another program because she wanted to make sure the one and only client was safe and ok. She deserves a lot credit. Back to the attempts at changing the program, clinical and management structures at the Ranch. The funny thing is that Lillian Connor was unreachable and she supposedly held most of the power...so most attempts were blocked if not blatantly laughed at by Mike himself. A lot of bad things happened at the Ranch and it not because there was not qualified, certified counselors working there. It was because those counselors were obstructed from performing their duties on several occasions. Groups were being interrupted and cancelled to make a run for Catalina or deep sea fishing. His counselors were frustrated and would have quit, but felt like they would be abandoning their clients. They felt they could offer the clients something, and had they quit those clients would have been left with nothing like the last girl standing. That is over now. Hopefully all the people that did successfully leave CRTC are still clean and sober-I know several of you are-Stay on the path. For those who were betrayed and not provided with the services you paid for remember that every day you have a choice and meetings are everywhere and free.

I have seen some of the posts and it makes sense to keep as much of this as real as possible because in reality with all the improprieties, the plain and simple truth is really sad and really ugly. The movie or reality TV show would definitely draw viewers, without any embellishments.
Something should be done with the oversight of all programs in California. Is that not what this is all about, SoberGuy? If this is about past resentments less good will come from this blog. If this about making changes at the macro-level (The local, county, state and federal governments) a lot more can and will be accomplished from this blog. Not to diminish the pain and resentments, because they are definitely valid. This just seems like a perfect time and place to turn tragedy into something very positive and that can benefit all future consumers of treatment services.
Oversight of the implementation and follow-through of new policies is imperative. How do we, as a concerned group of citizens, form an organization that has support at the macro level?
Our goal should be that no person experiencing treatment should ever be exposed to the tragedies that occurred at CRTC. There is so much we can do as a group. Is anyone reading these blogs interested in helping to make these changes?

Mike never lived with his wife. Lillian is a drunk. Mike lives in the back house and pretends to be a dad to her children. The guy is a huge scam. Look in his center counsel of his car...he takes meds meds and more meds.

Oh...Lillian FINALLY got the message?!?! That woman is as much to blame as Mike. She was more a monster than Mike. Money grubbing losers. Why is it that she never showed her face unless it was payday? I always think about that teenage girl that was hanging around Mike, Tana I think? WHO in their right mind thought that was okay?!?! Ew. We went to pick her up once and he had to like park around the block and text her to come out....creep. ... from Yvette
